Good morning Spartan Family! The elementary building has Earth Day activities scheduled for this Friday, April 22 with a rain date of Monday, April 25. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
K-2 will be participating in fun activities at Littlefield in the morning and community projects in the afternoon. Grades 3-5 will do their community projects in the morning and then have fun at Littlefield in the afternoon. All students will have a picnic lunch at Littlefield at 11:00. Sack lunches will be provided by the school.
Please send your child(ren) in every day clothes and shoes and with work/garden gloves if you have them. It might be muddy with the predicted weather!
HS G/B Track meet this evening is the CAM Classic @ ATLANTIC; Field events start at 4:15.

Come one, come all!!!! Come enjoy E.B. White's Classic Tale "Charolette's Web" on the Exira-EHK HS Stage! Ticket's will be available at the door and seats will be on a first come first serve basis! Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the production! With the elementary reading Charolette's Web as their 'One School One Book', you don't want to miss this 'One High School Play'.

On Friday April 8th, 7th grade took a field trip to the Durham Museum in Omaha to visit the Nelson Mandela exhibit. It was an awesome opportunity, as the exhibit has only been in thee cities. What a great opportunity for our students!!!

Students at Exira-EHK have the opportunity to job shadow after completing a research paper on a career of their choice. We are working to create a database of community businesses willing to open their doors to benefit our students in developing their future careers. We are hoping these experiences will expose our students career opportunities within our local communities. If you are interested in providing a job shadowing experience for a high school student, please fill out this form. (Please note this does not guarantee a student will job shadow you.)

The Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton CSD School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) will host the second meeting for this academic year on Wednesday March 30 at 6:00pm in the Elk Horn building conference room. We like to have representation for each of our communities, including parents, business owners etc. Your participation is voluntary.
