Friday we welcomed Christina back for a visit. She taught us all about Winter animals and hibernation.
Thursday, December 14th marked the Elementary's winter concert. Mrs. West made it "snow" much fun!

Elementary Christmas Concert tonight! 7 pm! (students here at 6:45 please)
Spartan Teachers got to spend a couple hours bonding over bowling this afternoon.
Elementary families, we need your help! Please send students with appropriate clothing to school. The attached picture shows our policy on recess clothing according to the weather. We also require students to have pants on if it is 54 degrees or colder. Boots are required if it is below 20 degrees, and gloves and hats when it is below 32 degrees. A significant number of students have been coming to school with no hat or gloves. Our supply at the school has dwindled down to very few in the last few weeks. If your child has brought home a hat or gloves that they borrowed from the school, please send them back to the school.

Friday Celebration was a busy one this week: we started our "gratitude" talks with Thomas and Charlie, had 3 Reading Core graduates: Charli, Grayson, & Evan, a student of the month, and PreK-2 PRIDE certificates!

2nd - 5th grade students participated in a Cup Stacking championship in P.E. recently. Mr. Brown named the 3 fastest boys and girls in each grade as the winners. Congratulations on your fast hands, Spartans!
