Elementary families,
As we begin a new semester, please send students with appropriate clothing to school. The attached picture shows our policy on recess clothing according to the weather. We also require students to have pants on if it is 54 degrees or colder. Boots are required if it is below 20 degrees, and gloves and hats when it is below 32 degrees. We only have a limited supply of hats/gloves at the school. If your child has brought home a hat or gloves that they borrowed from the school, please send them back to the school. Forecast shows it will be around 20 degrees at 8:00 AM tomorrow, and highs will not get above 35 in the coming days and weeks. Thank you for your help in keeping all of our students safe and warm for recess.
Thank you Marne Elk Horn and the Spartan Boosters for sponsoring popcorn today during our Christmas movies!

5th grade music/band got a mystery musician for a visit on Monday. Dan Beaman from the Exira Community Band played and answered questions of these curious kids. Thanks Mrs. West!
Students came to school and got a little surprise! All of the MS/HS lockers were gift wrapped! Thank you to those that helped with this!
Happy Last Week Before Winter Break!

Elementary families, we need your help! Please send students with appropriate clothing to school. The attached picture shows our policy on recess clothing according to the weather. We also require students to have pants on if it is 54 degrees or colder. Boots are required if it is below 20 degrees, and gloves and hats when it is below 32 degrees. A significant number of students have been coming to school with no hat or gloves. Our supply at the school has dwindled down to very few in the last few weeks. If your child has brought home a hat or gloves that they borrowed from the school, please send them back to the school.
